  • Must be unemployed or on a low income (less than £25,000)
  • You can still apply even if you are not receiving a benefit
  • A UK resident for 3 years or more
  • Aged 19 or older on or before 31 August 2024
  • Must not be in any other form of education or training course 
  • Must have access to either a Laptop/Tablet or PC
  • Must have internet access
  • Must not already hold the same qualification 
  • The programme is NOT available in the following regions: Greater Manchester, Greater London, Liverpool, West and South Yorkshire, North of Tyne, Tees Valley, Cambridge and Peterborough, Bristol, Bath, Birmingham, The Black Country & Coventry.

Course Description

This is a remote course. You must have access to a laptop or computer.

You can work on this course at your own pace, as long as the course is completed within the 1 month time frame given.

Please ignore the course start date, this course has a rolling start which means as soon as you have completed your enrolment steps, you will be started!

Who is it suitable for? 

This qualification is aimed at learners who are new to the customer service sector and wish to improve their knowledge of this area resulting in the achievement of a nationally recognised qualification.  The qualification provides learners with the knowledge and understanding in customer service for learners who deal, or intend to deal, with customers on a daily basis as part of their job role and is applicable to a variety of work environments.

  • Learn how to apply false eyelashes effectively.
  • Know how to apply cheek colour, along with blush types and facial shapes.
  • Understand how to apply lip colour, tips, benefits and mistakes.
  • Get to know the current beauty trends.
  • Learn about makeup in TV, film and magazines. Emphasising features, character makeup and more. Is this the position for you?
  • Know what hair styles work best with what makeup to ensure the two work seamlessly together.
  • Know how to maintain radiant skin from important steps to tips and advice.
  • Understand the different makeup techniques for different seasons. Know what makeup works in summer and winter. Get a good understanding on the latest season trends.
  • Learn some advanced techniques which can help you in your makeup career. Learn about contouring, useful tips, eye techniques and more.
  • Identify what you need to start and run your own beauty salon from management to health and safety and so much more.

You will complete your Customer Service course first (4 weeks to complete). Once this is completed, we will issue your Makeup Artist course. The Makeup Artist course will be emailed to you, and again, you can start and complete in your own time!
