Remote – Functional Skills, Maths & English. Non Dev Only.

This is a remote course. You must have access to a laptop or computer.

The programme is NOT available in the following regions: Greater Manchester, Greater London, Liverpool, West and South Yorkshire, North of Tyne, Tees Valley, Cambridge and Peterborough, Bristol, Bath, Birmingham, The Black Country & Coventry. 

You can work on this course at your own pace, as long as the course is completed within the 2 month time frame given.

Units Available:

• Functional Skills English – All levels (Entry 2 to Level 2)
• Functional Skills Maths – All levels (Entry 2 to Level 2)

How is this qualification structured?

The qualification is made up of four mandatory units:

• Unit 1 Written and verbal communication skills
• Unit 2 Punctuation, spelling and grammar
• Unit 3 Writing in different styles and layouts
• Unit 4 Finding information from documents

How is it assessed?

Once you are enrolled, you will access online lessons that will improve your specific areas for development and practice your skills.  Once you have completed these, you will take an exam at our local test centre.

Our Maths and English qualifications will give you the skills, knowledge and confidence to progress on to further study or employment and to meet your full potential.
