Course Eligibility

  • Learners must be over the age of 19 (20 before the end of the academic year/ 31st August). There is no upper age limit for any courses.
  • Must be unemployed and in receipt of a benefit (Proof will be requested to access funding).
  • Learners must have been resident within the UK for a minimum of 3 years. We can accept Asylum seekers if the learner has the correct Home Office Identification and access to Government Funds.
  • Must not be completing a funded course at this present time or currently in education/college.
  • Must have access to the correct identification to access funding.
  • Must not have completed a similar qualification at the same level or higher.
  • Learners MUST have access to a laptop or a computer with internet access to complete any of the remote courses. A phone or tablet will not suffice.

Course Description

This is a tutor lead, fast track, 10 day online course for residents of non devolved regions.

As an added bonus, LMP Training will also purchase your DBS and set up job interviews for those who would like one.

  • Understand principles of mental health concerns in context of children and young people.
  • Legislation and best practice.
  • Living with childhood mental health conditions.
  • Understand how to minimise the risk.
  • Understanding causes and diagnosis.

What to expect with LMP Training….

  • The Fast Track Level 2 course is delivered daily, Monday to Friday.
  • Once you have registered and enrolled with LMP Education, the link will be sent to you in readiness for the course start date.
  • You will be online with your tutor during this time. Your tutor will go over the module and coursework that you are covering that day and answer any questions.
  • You will be contacted the week after you have completed the course by your tutor who will cover your exit interview and to attend workshops.
  • Once your coursework has been marked and independently verified, a certificate from the awarding body will be requested and despatched.
