A combination of theory and practical exercises, this course has been designed to help individuals take their first steps into a digital/IT career. Gain the expertise required to work with operating systems, hardware, and software; cloud computing and networking mobile devices. Learn about network infrastructures like the internet, intranet, extranet, LANs, WANs, wireless networking, and network topologies; and protocols and services.
Learners will need a laptop or desktop to work on with a webcam and a mic. There may be reasons a learner cannot have a webcam on for sessions, but this should be the exception rather than the norm.
Module One
Pearson IT Specialist – Networking
This module focuses on teaching learners foundational networking knowledge and skills including TCP/IP, networking services/topologies and troubleshooting in wired and wireless environments.
Module Two
Pearson IT Specialist – Device Configuration Management
Module 2 expands learners knowledge in Windows devices and mobility.
