Course Eligibility

  • Valid British Passport or Birth Certificate (If non-British, a Residence Permit or Proof of Immigration status, such as a Visa Document/Share Code, is required)
  • Have the right to abode for the past 3 years
  • Proof of address (Utility Bill/Bank Statement dated within the last three months)
  • Proof of benefits in receipt – If on Universal Credit, please log in to your online account and screenshot the Payments Page, ensuring the deductions section is included
  • Must achieve certain levels in an online English, Maths, and ICT assessment
  • Must be a London resident
  • Has to be 19+ years old
  • Not in any form of Employment, Education, or Training
  • If employed, must be working fewer than 14 hours per week and earning under £21,000 annually
  • Has Not previously done the same course 

Course Description

This is predominantly an online course that will be delivered via zoom for 6 months, you will have face to face training for your practical (location – Dalston).

The course will be delivered via zoom when online for 3 weeks out of the month, then 1 week in the classroom.

Upon successful complete, candidates will be offered Job Interviews and a FREE DBS Check!

As this course has an online learning section, you must have access to the internet and either a laptop, tablet or PC. Unfortunately a smart phone will not suffice.

  • Infection prevention and control in a care setting
  • Obtain and test capillary blood samples 
  • Understand mental health problems 
  • Undertake physiological measurement 
  • Promote nutrition and hydration in adult care setting 
  • Diabetes awareness 
  • Managing pain and discomfort 
  • understand social prescribing 

Course Delivery:

Days: Wednesdays, Thursday & Fridays
Location: Remote, you will complete this course from home plus some face to face training for practical learning in Dalston.

Whilst this is an predominantly an online course, candidates must be able to travel to E8 2JS for initial sign up and a small amount of classroom learning.
