Course Eligibility

Candidates need to be 19 or older as of 31st August 2024
Must be unemployed or earning less than £25,000 per year
If employed, on less than £25,000, must be able to commit to course timings
Learners can be in receipt of a benefit or not
Not in education Right to live and work in UK
Must have a valid form of ID
Must not be in any other form of education
Must complete a maths and English assessment prior to enrolment gaining a minimum of entry 2
Must be able to travel to Mansfield for the full course duration
Must be a resident of Nottinghamshire and can travel to Mansfield

Course Description

This is a 2 week FLT course for residents of Nottinghamshire & surrounding areas areas who can travel to Mansfield.

Week one will be held online with guidance from a tutor. You MUST have access to a device (laptop, tablet or PC) A smart phone will not suffice unfortunately.

Week two will be held at your local FLT centre (face to face) NG18 Postcode.

Qualifications from week 1 theory:

Certificate for Preparing for Further Learning or Employment
Award in Preparing for Self-Employment
Award in Personal Safety
Award in Cyber Security

Week 2 practical:

You will be face to face completing your:

Portland Training Incentive Counterbalance FLT Training
Portland Training Company RTITB/ITZAR Test And License

End Date: Friday 13th December 2024

Location: Online for the theory in week one, NG18 postcode for week 2 practical
