Course Eligibility

  • Valid British Passport or Birth Certificate (If non-British Passport or Birth Certificate, you must provide a Residence Permit or Proof of Immigration status, i.e. Visa Document/Share Code.)
  • Proof of address Utility Bill/Bank Statement dated within the last three months.
  • Must be a London resident
  • Must be in receipt of a benefit (i.e. UC, ESA, JSA)
  • Be eligible to Live / Work in UK
  • Be in the UK for 3+ years (or be in an eligible residency group)
  • Can not be in any other form of training or education7
  • Must be unemployed or earning less than £20,319 PA
  • Candidates need to be 19 or older as of 31st August 2023

How it works

You will spend your time in class being guided by the trainer on completing each aspect. They will help you practice your equations and writing skills and help you to gain the qualification by an online assessment. 

Learners must complete an initial Maths and English assessment to demonstrate that they are able to work at a minimum of Entry Level 3.
