Course Eligibility

Must be unemployed
Be receiving a means tested benefit (US/JSA/ESA)
A UK resident for 3 years or more
Candidates need to be 19 or older as of 31st August 2023
Must be able to commit to the full course timings & schedule
Must not be in any other form of education
Must hold one of the following forms of ID (Passport, Birth Certificate, Driving Licence, Residence Permit)
Must achieve a minimum of E2 on BKSB online assessments

Course Description

This is a classroom based SIA Course for residents of Leeds. Upon completion of the course, your test and badge will be fully funded for you. We also have provision in place to resit your exam should you fail the initial.

Level 3 Emergency First Aid Training
Introduction to British values
Expectations of the Security Industry

*9.30am – 3.30pm (Tuesday only)

Week two:

Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm

Working as a Door Supervisor
Conflict Management
Physical Intervention
Exams – exams take place on the last day of training
