Course Eligibility

  • Must have lived in the UK/EU for the last 3 years.
  • Must be over 19 – Born before 31st August 2004.
  • Must have a National Insurance Number & Valid ID
  • Need to have access to a laptop, computer, iPad or Tablet (mobile phones are not compatible) to complete the online course.
  • Cannot be a student Or completed the same qualifications already.
  • Must reside in one of the following areas: Oxford, Swindon, Cirencester High Wycombe Norwich, Ipswich, Skegness, Boston or Lincoln.

Course Description

This course runs Monday – Friday, for three weeks and learners will study online with guidance from a tutor.

Applicants for the course must reside in one of the following Non Devolved areas:
Oxford, Swindon, Cirencester High Wycombe Norwich, Ipswich, Skegness, Boston or Lincoln.

Applicants must have access to a laptop or computer to complete the course.
(Smart phones are not compatible) 

Topics Covered:

  • Explore workplace behaviours and standards to develop a positive working environment and align with employer expectations, boosting career prospects.
  • Gain skills in inbound and outbound telephone communication and sales, learning to engage customers effectively and achieve sales targets.
  • identifying and describing legislation and ethical conduct in relation to the maintenance of cyber security.
  • Identifying forms of cybercrime; possible motives; and tactics used by cybercriminals.
  • Learn how to use a range of digital technologies for different purposes.
  • Understand how to register for digital services such as online shopping and banking and manage online accounts safely and securely.
  • Use online document systems to upload and download files, and use email, instant messaging, and social media to communicate and collaborate with others.

  • Certificate in Digital Contact Centre L1
  • Award in Cyber Security L1
  • Award in Digital and IT Skills L2
