Candidates need to be 19 or older as of 31st August 2024
Unemployed or working 16 hrs or less
Can be on a benefit or not
Not in education Right to live and work in UK
Must live in Nottinghamshire and can travel to Worksop
Must not be in any other form of education
Must not hold the same qualifications

Course Description

This is a 4 week course for residents who live in Nottinghamshire and can travel to Worksop.

Applicants for this course who already holds a CSCS card, physically fit and ready to get back into work can start straight away!

If you do not hold a CSCS Card, we can still get you started on the course, but we will put you through your CSCS test first.

5 days classroom delivery over 2 weeks

To complete the plant training element, as a private individual, it would cost in the region of £1000.

Mental Health Awareness
Principles of Civil Engineering
Asbestos Awareness and Risk Avoidance
Waste Management in Construction
Hand Arm Vibration

100% attendance required

Week Two!

Concrete Placing and Finishing
Principles of Stormwater and Drainage
Abrasive Wheels and Use of Power Tools
Detection of Buried Services

100% attendance required

Week 3!

Subject to 5 full days attendance on classroom elements of the course.
4 days NPORS Training at a local Plant Training Centre
Gain Forward Tipping Dumper/ROR Ticket
Gain Plant Machinery Marshall category as well
Fully Funded by DfE
Commercial equivalent approx. £1000
