This 3 week classroom-based SIA Course is a great opportunity to gain the qualifications to succeed in the security industry. If you’d like to work in events, hospitality, retail, offices or construction as a Door Supervisor, then this funded course is for you.

Our three-week programme will provide all the knowledge, skills and qualifications, enabling learners to apply for a licence to practice with The Security Industry Authority (SIA).

This training will prepare learners for a long career in the Security Industry.

The course contains physical activity that may aggravate any existing injuries. Learners will be required to sign an injury disclaimer form. The tutor will inform learners when they need to wear training clothes, including training shoes on certain days.

Delivery:

This is a full-time programme Monday to Friday.
You will be required to attend training from 09:00 -17:30 daily.
There may be times where your tutor sets you tasks that can be completed at home or in groups completing tasks.
During the final two weeks, you will be required to be in the classroom all day with the tutor. We call this contact time and it is essential for all SIA training days.
If you cannot attend on one of the key days, you will not be allowed to continue the course or sit the final exams. We will of course assist in booking you on the next course available to complete your training.

This course includes:

Highfield Level 1 Certificate in Personal Development for Employability (RQF),
Highfield Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service (RQF)
Highfield Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry.
Highfield Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
