Aged 19+ years JSA claimants, including 50+ groups ESA claimants and lone parents Universal Credit claimants Unemployed Must not be in any other form of education

Course Description

Have you considered working with children or in a classroom?

If so, then this course is for you!

You can take part in this Level 2 Teaching Assistant Award. This hybrid learning approach means you can attend a classroom where practical or study online, or both! This course is completely flexible to suit your learning needs.

You will complete 6 modules that will prepare you for taking on the practical placement in a school, to become a fully qualified Teaching Assistant, and be able to apply for TA roles.

Qualifications you will achieve:

Understand schools as organisations (Classroom)Understand how to keep children and young people healthy, safe, and well (Classroom)

Understand how to communicate with children, young people, and adults (Classroom)

Autism Awareness Certification (Online) 10 Hrs

Mental wellbeing in children and young adults (Online) 2 Hrs

Safeguarding Children Certificate (Online) 4Hrs

Days: Tuesday & Thursdays

Length: 5 Weeks (Flexible approach)
