Learners will explore what is meant by customer service, aspects of product and service knowledge, understanding customer needs, wants and responses when these are not met and the vital skills to be successful in customer service. They will then move onto look at how this knowledge is applied via scenarios, role plays and discussions. Learners will also explore the key skill of self assessment, applying the improvement techniques to self and service.

The programme aims to support and develop long term learning by delivering learning within the 10 sessions, however learners will complete the assessment activities after completing all learning sessions, enabling them to build on knowledge throughout that is reflected in the final assessment activities including role play scenario.
