  • Course is for both Unemployed and employed

Course Description

Multiply – Maths Functional Skills Program – East Surrey

This is an online course, which aims to instil confidence in using numbers, which can help towards day-to-day life, working towards a qualified course in Maths or working in the Care Sector with application of numbers.

It can help individuals in everyday life, from managing finances or helping their children with homework. It can also help people to get a new job or study for further qualifications.

Once an individual has finished a Multiply numeracy course, they could:

Progress onto a more advanced numeracy qualification.         

Feel more confident about applying for jobs that require maths skills.

Understand Staff Rota’s
Use of thermometers
Time management and planning of appointments
Reading of bus timetables for domiciliary carers
Alarms and alerts for administering medicines
Volumes and fractions
Food portions and guides
Reading Scales and pressure
Meter Reading and budgeting
Understanding payslips
Discounts if shopping for clients (buy one get one free)

Location: Online, from the comfort of your own home.

Duration: 1 day a week 3-5hrs for 6 weeks – Weekly starts
