Course Eligibility

 
  • You must be unemployed
  • Learners need to have the following ID: Passport or Birth Certificate (the right to live and work in the UK)
  • Out of Date Passport - Can be accepted if you can provide a letter with your name/address within the last 3 months.
  • Proof of address dated within the last 3 months of the course start date (Utility bill, bank statement, HMRC letter)
  • Candidates need to be 19 or older as of 31st August 2024
  • Must be a resident of either Tameside or Oldham
  • Must have access to a laptop, tablet or PC.
  • Can not be in any other form of education
  • Must be a UK resident for 3 years or more

Course Description

This is an online course, 3 days a week – Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, over 6 weeks.

You must be a resident of one of the following areas to apply:

  • Oldham
  • Tameside

Units Covered:

  • Signs, symptoms and diagnosis of Autism.
  • Sources of information and support, legislation, and policy relevant to Autism.
  • Living with Autism.
  • Best practice relating to Autism.

Delivery:

This course is 6 weeks.

Classes are delivered online every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday – 9:30am – 14:30pm.
