Course Eligibility

  • 19 or older as of 31st August 2024
  • Unemployed or earning below £23,104
  • Not in government funded education
  • Right to live and work in UK
  • Learners aged 19-24 must hold a full level 2 qualification
  • Need to have access to a PC, Laptop or Tablet with a webcam. A smart Phone is not able to support the course content.
  • Must live in the West Midlands
  • Learners not in receipt of benefit cannot already hold a Level 3 qualification, or higher.

Course Description

Our Level 3 Principles of Special Educational Needs course is designed to help you develop and extend your overall knowledge of SEN to help you progress within this sector.

This is a great course for individuals looking to work in education, or those seeking a career in childcare, teaching or family support.

As part of the course, you’ll complete several units that cover a wide range of behavioural and developmental issues you may encounter when caring for children with SEN and how to support them.

As part of the Principles of Special Education Needs course, you’ll complete the following key units:

  • Development of Children & Young People
  • Professional Practice in Sen Services
  • How to Support Children & Young People to Achieve Learning Potential
  • Speech, Language & Communication Needs
  • Disabled Children & Young People

On successful completion of the course, you’ll receive an industry-recognised Level 3 qualification in Principles of Special Educational Needs.

Location: Online remote learning
Daily Times: 9am – 5pm
Days of the week: Weekdays only
