Course Eligibility

    • Entry level 3 or above in English and Maths.
    • In receipt of one of the following benefits: UC/JSA/ESA
    • Unemployed
    • Have identification: Either a Birth Certificate, Passport or Driving Licence (the right to live and work in the UK)
    • Proof of benefit with the payments and any deductions
    • Proof of address dated within the last 3 months of the course start date (Utility bill, bank statement, HMRC letter)
    • Candidates need to be 19 or older as of 31st August 2023
    • Must have access to a laptop/Tablet or PC to access the course
    • Must be a UK resident for 3 years or more
    Must be a resident in one of the following areas:

    • Luton

    • Milton Keynes
    • Buckingham

Course Description

If you want to further develop your IT skills and have either achieved the Highfield Level 1 Certificate in IT User Skills (ITQ) or those who already have experience and a good understanding of Microsoft Office programmes then this is the course for you.

You will learn to use the most commonly used Microsoft Office programmes.

During this course you will be able to develop your IT computer skills beyond intermediate level in the following Microsoft Office applications:

  •       Microsoft Word
  •       Microsoft Excel
  •       Microsoft PowerPoint
