- Entry level 3 or above in English and Maths.
- In receipt of one of the following benefits: UC/JSA/ESA
- Unemployed
- Have identification: Either a Birth Certificate, Passport or Driving Licence (the right to live and work in the UK)
- Proof of benefit with the payments and any deductions
- Proof of address dated within the last 3 months of the course start date (Utility bill, bank statement, HMRC letter)
- Candidates need to be 19 or older as of 31st August 2023
- Must have access to a laptop/Tablet or PC to access the course
- Must be a UK resident for 3 years or more

Course Description

Are you completely new to computers or want to brush up your existing IT skills?

If the answer is yes, then this is the course for you!

This course is aimed at learners who can already send and receive emails, or browse the internet but now want to gain the skills needed to work in a modern office. You will learn to use the most commonly used Microsoft Office programmes.

During this course you will be able to develop your IT computer skills beyond starter level in the following Microsoft Office applications:

Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft PowerPoint

Following successful completion of this course, learners will be able to progress onto Progression to Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills (ITQ).
