Course Eligibility

  • Learners will need to be in receipt of one of the following benefits: UC/JSA/ESA
  • You must be unemployed
  • Learners need to have the following ID:
  • Passport or Birth Certificate (the right to live and work in the UK)
  • Proof of benefit with the payments and any deductions
  • Proof of address dated within the last 3 months of the course start date (Utility bill, bank statement, HMRC letter)
  • Candidates need to be 19 or older as of 31st August 2022
  • Please note this course doesn't have funding for residents in London, Manchester, Merseyside 
  • Residents in Non Dev areas only - If you are unsure we will check for you.

Course Description

This is a 10 day Customer Service course with a JS Academy course on completion!

This is a remote course where you will learn from home with guidance from a tutor.

You will have access to all of the course materials from the outset on google classroom, and will be given 6 assignments – 1 per unit which again will be issued from day 1.

Level 1 Customer Service Units:

Unit 1: Customer Service Principles

Unit 2: Understanding How to Work in a Customer Service Role

Unit 3: Communicating With Customers

Unit 5: Career Progression

Unit 7: Understanding How to Deal with Customers’ Requests, Queries and Problems

Unit 9: Investigating Rights and Responsibilities at Work

You will start the Customer Service course first on Monday 6th February, then once this is completed you can then access the Transport Management Course!

Transport Management Certification Units:

The Level 2 Certification uses 10 modules, in order to cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • An introduction to transportation management, so that the learner will gain a foundational knowledge of the subject;
  • Transportation infrastructure within the UK, including the processes involved in transporting by road, rail, air and sea;
  • The differences in freight and passenger transport, and the regulations required for each, including the necessary documentation needed, to successfully transport people or goods;
  • The intricacies of port-to-port transportation and inland waterways;
  • An overview of the latest trends and challenges within the industry, so that your employees will be up-to-date on current happenings, along with industry standard best practices;
  • A specific focus on health and safety, which will give your staff the skills required, in order to access situations prior to transportation, why health and safety processes are in place and the related regulations for both the UK and abroad;
  • The roles and responsibilities of the transport manager.
