Course Eligibility

  • Learners MUST be unemployed, either claiming or not claiming a benefit (cannot be employed).
  • Learners MUST be 19 years+ on enrollment We do need to see photo ID for these learners.
  • ID (If using a birth certificate you must provide your National Insurance number too)
  • Must be a London resident

Course Description

This is a 1 week Remote course that you will complete online with guidance from a tutor.

You must have access to a laptop or computer, a smart phone is not compatible unfortunately.

Upon completion of this course, not only will you qualify for one of our JS Academy courses for FREE! We are also offering job interviews at Tossed Salad Bar in London!

Whats Covered?

Highfield Level 1 Certificate in Customer Service.

Learners will start their learning journey with Unit 1 Principles of Customer Service.

By taking part in range of activities/discussions, they will develop/expand their knowledge and understanding of what good customer service is and explore its main principles.

They will familiarise themselves with basic terminology used in customer service environment like “customers’ satisfaction, customers’ expectations”.

They will also explore how customers’ needs and expectations are formed, principles of responding to customers’ problems, complaints, and queries.

In this Unit, learners will also look at legislation related to confidentiality and limits of their own authority. The main purpose of this Unit is to provide knowledge and understanding of all necessary components of Customer Service.

Overview

This qualification provides learners with the knowledge and understanding needed to work in the Contact Centre industry.

The qualification is assessed through portfolio evidence. Learners must demonstrate their understanding of how to deal with various situations in a safe and professional manner.

Full guidance and support will be offered by your tutor throughout the 5 day programme. Your work will be assessed through portfolio based evidence.

Extras!

One day out of the week will be based around Conflict Management which focuses on objection handling and conflict management in a customer service environment.

A Maths and English assessment must be completed before you can start the course. This will be sent via email.  These must be completed no later than Wednesday 7th December 20022.

Once you have completed the assessment, a tutor will contact you to go through your enrollment over the phone before you start the course.

Once you have completed the Customer Service side of the course, we will issue a voucher code via email which allows you to log in anytime to complete an Academy course chosen by you, at your own pace!
